Week #11 - Mail going up...on a Tuesday

Hey everybody...This week has been super super sweet, we had a mission conference yesterday and a seventy came down and talked to us about technology and how porn will destroy your life and it's so true. It was crazy good and he was really really powerful. We got our investigators back!! The ones that left us over text ha we got them back and they are on a baptismal date! Persistence is key. :) 

haha awww I love you guys so much and love seeing your names pull up on my inbox :) I think about you guys daily like it's unreal, it's hard to be out here because you miss everyone SOOO much but you know how important it is that other people can be with their families forever and feel the joy we feel. I've learned a lot out here and am only growing, but I'm still the same person. I honestly haven't changed at all except realizing what I want, the people that truly care about me and who I truly care about, and what I wasted time on. I want to keep hearing about your lives so just write me a funny story from your day or something, it doesn't have to be a lot. 

But i know out here that the church is so true, there's thing that happen that will make you realize there is no way it's not. You have to strive for it though and read and prayer constantly or you can lose it. The best can fall, and the lowest can rise up and change into more than they can even imagine.

oh p.s. I met this guy that everyone calls grandpa and he is thee best person ever haha he's super funny, and swears a TON, pretty vulgar dude, but he is the best and always takes the missionaries out and cares for them so much. He's super rich and has a lot of artifacts from 2000-4000 years old.

Week #10 - I want to send you a letter!

Hey everybody out here in good old Florida just kickin' it and preaching the gospel :) Well first off I am still writing letters and I am so happy so many of you wanted them and I just love you all with my entire heart. I'm actually gonna have you all send my letters to the mission office so if I move from my apartment I will still be able to get your stuff :):) the address is:

I'm happy to talk to you guys!! :) If you want a letter just send me your home address and you've got one :) Well anyways I love you all and its getting easier to be out here. I don't miss you all as much. I have just realized how much I took everyone for granted, how much I didn't appreciate the good things to the fullest, and how much time I wasted on stupid things instead of learning things that will actually be of benefit to me. But its amazing because being out here I'm noticing how I want to live my life after my mission and what I want to do. Things I want to learn and start doing, and things I really care about and what garbage to get rid of and quit when I come home. Out here you see some CRAZY miracles, miracles that say to you, "There is no way God isn't a part of our daily lives", there's no way there isn't someone bigger in the picture of the scheme of things. The spiritual strength you gain out here is crazy, your mind is so clear and you can just hear it guide you in what to say and do. We have so much fun out here to which is the great thing and even in hard times and times of low, we know that there is someone that God has prepared for us to give this gospel to, that they may be able to receive eternal life and be with their families forever! Spanish is crazy too, i can almost understand everything anyone says and my vocabulary is growing like crazy. I probably learned 500+ words in 7 days and I'm constantly learning everyday.

Week #9 - First Baptism

Soooo I've written some letters and I plan on writing you ALL back when I get down time when i'm allowed to write so be prepared for a letter in the mail :) 

But anyway, on to more important news, it's cool down here and all but we've had some amazing miracles! Lets start off by...I had my first baptism this week it was legit and the spirit was so so strong. But then we got dropped by one of our investigators that was super super interested and she said i don't want no more classes with the mormons, so someone was talking negative about us because we didn't even mention we go by the mormons, so we are gonna get to the bottom of it ;) but for real it felt like a breakup, like girl why are you doing this to us we are only offering you eternal salvation and the opportunity to live with your family forever but ok if you wanna do it over text i see how it is haha But on the real we need her back and we want this for her and we know the Lord does also. So i had the high and low of missionary work this week. We have had way more positives than we have negatives, we have several more investigators coming soon, and more baptisms too :D we have 3 with dates and referrals waiting. 

Well i want to know about whats going on with you guys, keep emailing, sending pictures and if you want a letter all i need is an address ;)

Week #8 - Let's write letters

SO, heres the deal I only have an hour to email each week which is kinda booty if you ask me, so i am going to start writing letters and sending them. If you want letters i need your addresses pronto, it will be the best way to here from me and it will be fun :) Ill write back to everyone don't fret. But Just email me your address, also i am so grateful for the pictures all of you have been sending me even if you just send or sent one it makes me feel close to you guys still and helps me like crazy, because i really really miss you all. 

But it is incredible down here literally all the time i feel like we are in Jurassic Park, there is tons of sweet tall palm trees everywhere and a lot of vegetation in every form. The sky goes on forever like its unreal, the clouds are full and rich and you literally almost eel like you're in the clouds because the lands so flat. The sunsets are unreal here too the other day it was purple and we were in a part that is more trees and stuff and the noises you hear here make you feel like you're in jurassic times it is soooooo sick! 

The people here are amazing, they have good hearts and are pretty accepting of the gospel and just more hospitable and loving. There are some people that are flat out rude. We have a baptism this Sunday and several more coming and it is crazy i didn't think people baptized this much but maybe its because my companion is so sick, his name is Elder Sherwin he speaks 4+ languages, plays multiple instruments and is just super good in the gospel plus we nerd out some time and have a lot in common. 

But its hard out here but amazing, i hope to hear from everyone and write letters to all of you. :)
